Swim Suit Policy
and Ordering Procedures
The Stingrays have a team suit to be worn at meets only. It is
bright blue and green with our stingray logo. A swimmer’s
first team suit will be provided free of charge by the Stingrays
team. Caps to match can be purchased from the coaches for around
$3. Swimmers are expected to take proper care of their suit, wearing
it to meets only, and rinsing it well with water and hanging it
to dry after each use. Caps should be powdered with corn starch
after they are completely dry.
If a swimmer quits the team within 6 months of receiving his/her
suit, the Stingrays team will expect the suit to be returned or
there will be a charge to the parents.
When the first team suit needs to be replaced, parents are responsible
for ordering and paying for a new one. See the website or the
team bulletin board for ordering information. Girls suits are
around $50, boys trunks are around $40. There may be an opportunity
to swap suits with another swimmer. Use the website discussion
